WP7.4 - Review of CO2 emissions mitigation through prescribed burning
This work package involves two different activities that contribute to the review of CO2 emissions mitigation through prescribed burning. A first activity concerns a review and analysis of contributions by wildfires and by prescribed burning to the overall emissions in CO2 equivalents. A second activity concerns a review and analysis of the potential of prescribed burning and suppression fires in the context of the Kyoto Protocol.
