Connecting to the Server
To start Dendro just click the link - Try DENDRO and answer "Open with Java(TM) Web Start Launcher" in the popup dialog box. You can find some instructions and user interface explanations below.
To enter metadata into Dendro you need to be a registered user and you must provide a valid username and password. To register please follow the instructions on the registration page.
Having entered a valid username and password press the OK button to gain access to the system.
The first time that you log into the system you should fill in your contact details. To do this select the MyDetails option from the File menu. It is important to fill in your contact details because you have ownership of the metadata and this forms an integral part of the metadata record.
