Integrated products
The Fire Intuition platform has integrated products developed during the Fire Paradox project. These include:
- Fuel Knowledge Platform - providing access to a range of information about European wildland fuels, including the Fire Paradox Fuel Database, and a wiki (containing concepts and definitions).
- Fuel Manager - application to generate 3D vegetation scenes and visualise effects of fire on vegetation (available for download).
- Set of Regional Prescribed Burning Demonstration Sites
- Set of Regional Suppression Fire Demonstration Sites
- Mediabase (collection of photographs, videos and other documents from the Fire Paradox project, and especially the Lousa 2007 and 2008 summer bases)
- Legislation and Policies Interactive Map
- Fire Use Practices interactive Map (not implemented yet)
- Fire Hazard Mapper - Multicriteria GIS tool to produce fire hazard maps (available for download).
- Prescribed Burning Mapper - Multicriteria GIS tool to plan prescribed burning (available for download).
- Vesta - Large-scale fire simulator (available for download)
- PiroPinus - Prescribed burning guide developed for maritime pine (available for download).
- Tiger - 2D Fire Propagation Simulator
- FireCost - Application for estimating the economic impact of forest fires).
